Time and structure

My Dear Son,

You teach me the value of time and structure. You signal the time for eating, playing and sleeping, telling me that you need structure in your day, hence, you have encouraged me to better plan and structure my day.  You force me to be perceptive of your signals, what you need and when. Even though you can’t yet verbalise your needs, you certainly know how to make yourself heard, Alhamdulilah.  Basically, you have taught me that, for now, you are the boss of my time. But, moreover, you teach me that time, once gone, can never be retained. Split seconds and wasted minutes all add up at the end of the day. Structure helps us not waste the day. May we always value every day. Ameen.

With love,

Mommy
